The Brand

The Brand

What makes Atlas Carré jewellery different from other brands?

Atlas Carré is built around one idea: that colour and structure belong together in fine jewellery, and that every piece you choose should work effortlessly with every other.

Every piece is designed to stack, layer and build over time. Start with one. Add another. It still works. The system is the product.

Structurally, we don't compromise. Solid settings, proper weight, a non-flip tennis construction, pieces made to be worn daily - not kept in a box.

Has Atlas Carré been worn by public figures?

Yes. Atlas Carré has been worn by Emily Ratajkowski, Régé-Jean Page, Alan Cumming, Leomie Anderson, Holland Taylor, Jameela Jamil, Jennifer Saunders, Celia Imrie, Katherine Jenkins, AJ Odudu, Judi Love, Ruth Gemmell, Holly Humberstone, Shirley Ballas, Viola Prettejohn, Fleur East, Jenny Boyd, Chloë Quisha, Sophie Willan, Corinna Brown and others.

The brand has appeared in Tatler and Woman & Home, and has been worn on red carpets including the BAFTAs and the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

What is Atlas Carré?

Atlas Carré is a modern fine jewellery house based in London, founded on the idea that colour and structure belong together. Every piece is handcrafted in solid gold and set with precious gemstones in 13 signature colours - designed to stack, layer and combine effortlessly.

The brand is built around The Jewellery Wardrobe - a system of Foundation, Structure and Expression pieces that work together in any combination. There are no wrong stacks.

Atlas Carré jewellery is made to order, fully hallmarked in the UK, and set with premium lab-grown gemstones. Natural gemstones are available through the Bespoke Studio.

Worn by Emily Ratajkowski, Régé-Jean Page, Jennifer Saunders, Holland Taylor and others. Featured in Tatler.

The System

The System

How does the Atlas Carré stacking system work?

Atlas Carré jewellery is built in three movements: Foundation, Structure and Expression.

Foundation - the pieces you start with.
Diamond pieces that feel easy and essential.

Structure - the pieces that bring it together.
Gold bands that shape the hand through weight, texture, and form.

Expression - the pieces that change everything.
Signature coloured gemstones that bring contrast and character.

Every combination works. That's the point.

Can I build my stack gradually over time?

Yes. Atlas Carré is designed to be built over time.

Start with one piece. Add another when it feels right. Because every piece shares the same design language and colour architecture, anything you add later will always work with what you already own.

You are not buying a single item. You are starting a collection.

Can I mix gold tones in my stack?

Yes. Mixing yellow gold, white gold and rose gold is very much part of how Atlas Carré is meant to be worn.

Some of our most striking combinations pair warm yellow gold Foundation pieces with cooler white gold diamond Structure rings. The contrast is the point.

There are no rules. Build it your way.

The Bespoke Studio

The Bespoke Studio

What is the AtlasCarré Bespoke Studio?

The Bespoke Studio is where your dream piece comes to life. Whether you have a clear vision or just a feeling, we work with you to design something made entirely for you - in your metal, your gemstone, your way.

Every bespoke commission is personally overseen by Carmen, the founder of Atlas Carré.

How does the bespoke process work?

It starts with a free consultation. We talk through your vision, your preferences, your budget.

From there, we create a 3D design sketch and present gemstone and metal options for your approval. Once you are happy, your piece goes into production, handcrafted to the same standard as every Atlas Carré piece.

A design fee of £200 applies, which is credited in full against your final order.

What is The Heirloom Edit?

The Heirloom Edit is a bespoke service for stones and pieces you already own but no longer wear. We rework them into contemporary designs that fit how you live and dress today.

Bring us your inherited stones, a
vintage brooch, a ring from a relationship that has ended. We will reimagine
them into something you will actually reach for.

Examples of what we can do:

An inherited ring reworked into a
new design. Stones from an old brooch turned into earrings or a bracelet or both. An engagement ring reimagined into a divorce ring that belongs to who you
are now. Loose stones transformed into a contemporary keepsake worth keeping
for another generation.

To begin, contact us at bespoke@atlascarre.com.

Can other gemstones be certified?

Yes. All Atlas Carré pieces can be insured just like any fine jewellery. We recommend contacting your insurer directly and keeping your invoice, Certificate of Authenticity and any gemstone certificates for reference.

What is a hallmark and does Atlas Carré jewellery have one?

A hallmark is an official mark struck by a UK assay office that certifies the metal content and origin of a piece. It is a legal requirement for gold jewellery sold in the UK over a certain weight.

Every Atlas Carré piece carries a full London hallmark comprising the sponsor's mark, metal purity, assay office mark and date letter. It is your guarantee that what you are wearing is exactly what it says it is.

The Gemstones

The Gemstones

Why coloured gemstones?

Fine jewellery has spent decades in white diamond and yellow gold. Atlas Carre was built to change that.

Colour is the architecture here - not an afterthought, not a seasonal accent. Our 13 signature gemstone colours are designed to layer deliberately, contrast beautifully, and build over time into a collection that is entirely yours.

Our signature collection features premium lab-grown gemstones - chemically and optically identical to their mined counterparts, selected for colour intensity and brilliance. For those seeking a stone with its own geological story, natural gemstones are available through our Bespoke Studio.

Do you offer natural gemstones?

Our signature collection is set with premium lab-grown gemstones, selected for colour and brilliance.

For those seeking a stone with its own geological history, natural gemstones are available through our Bespoke Studio. We source exceptional stones individually, including natural diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, spinels, tourmalines and tanzanites. Every stone is colour matched and fully certified.
To begin a natural gemstone commission, contact us at bespoke@atlascarre.com.

Why do you mostly use lab-grown instead of mined stones?

Lab-grown stones are our standard because they allow us to offer the colours we care about at fine jewellery price points. Vivid rubies, fine sapphires, rich emeralds.

Natural stones of equivalent quality are extremely rare. A fine ruby or Colombian emerald of the colour and clarity we would use is high jewellery territory, priced beyond reach for most and sourced one stone at a time. Lab-grown makes these colours genuinely accessible.

For those who want a stone with provenance and geological history, natural gemstones are available through our Bespoke Studio, sourced individually for each commission.

Are lab-grown gemstones real?

Yes. Lab-grown gemstones are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined stones. They are real gems, grown in advanced laboratories that replicate the conditions found in nature, without the environmental and ethical costs of mining.

What are the 13 signature gemstone colours?

Atlas Carré jewellery is available in 13 signature gemstone colours, each chosen for its depth, character and ability to combine with the others.

White Diamond, Yellow Sapphire, Orange Padparadscha Sapphire, Deep Red Garnet, Light Pink Sapphire, Vivid Pink Sapphire, Red Ruby, Purple Amethyst, Light Blue Aquamarine, Teal Blue Spinel, Blue Sapphire, Colombian Green Emerald, Zambian Green Emerald.

Every colour is available across multiple designs. Shop by colour.

Why do prices vary so much for lab-grown gemstones?

Not all lab-grown gemstones are equal. Many pieces advertised as lab-grown on mass market sites are cubic zirconia or other simulants. Even genuine lab-grown stones vary widely in quality, just like mined ones.

Atlas Carré uses only premium grade lab-grown gemstones, cut to exacting standards for brilliance and colour saturation. Each stone is individually selected and set by hand. The price reflects the quality of the stone and the craftsmanship behind the piece, not a brand markup on something mediocre.

The Metals

The Metals

What metals does Atlas Carré use?

All Atlas Carré jewellery is made in recycled precious metals. Our standard range is available in gold vermeil, 9k, 14k and 18k solid gold, in yellow, white and rose gold. Custom finishes including grey and black rhodium plating are available through our Bespoke Studio.

What is the difference between gold vermeil and solid gold?

Gold vermeil is recycled sterling silver with a 2.5 micron layer of 18k gold. It is a fine jewellery standard, not to be confused with gold plating, which uses a much thinner layer over base metal. Vermeil is beautiful for everyday wear with proper care.

Solid gold, whether 9k, 14k or 18k, is gold throughout. It is the most durable option and the one we recommend for pieces you plan to wear every day for years.

What does 9k, 14k and 18k mean?

The karat indicates the proportion of pure gold in the alloy. 18k is 75% pure gold, 14k is 58.5% and 9k is 37.5%. The remainder is made up of other metals that add strength and durability.

18k has the richest colour and the highest gold content. 14k offers an excellent balance of durability and purity. 9k is the most durable and the most affordable of the solid gold options.

All are fully hallmarked in London.

Why do you use recycled gold?

Because the gold already exists. Recycled gold is chemically identical to newly mined gold. Reusing it avoids the need for new extraction without any compromise on quality, colour or durability.

Leading luxury jewellery houses have committed to recycled gold for the same reason. It is simply the responsible choice for a modern fine jewellery brand.

Can I order in a different metal or finish?

Yes. Each design is available across multiple metals, purities and finishes. If you do not see the combination you want listed, contact us at contact@atlascarre.com and we will let you know what is possible.
Custom finishes including grey and black rhodium plating are available through our Bespoke Studio.

How do I care for my Atlas Carré jewellery?

Full care guidance is available on our After Care page. As a general rule, remove your jewellery before sleeping, bathing, swimming or exercising. Avoid direct contact with perfume, chemicals and cleaning products. Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratching.

Solid gold pieces are built for everyday wear. Gold vermeil requires a little more care to preserve the plating. See our After Care page for metal-specific guidance.
